Wicked - and catching up

So, has everyone else already discovered "Wicked?" You know, the Broadway play? I discovered it last month and I've been hooked ever since. The soundtrack is so amazing! It makes me very happy. If you haven't heard it yet, you need to.

Well, just to catch you up on the latest, we've been issued a "cease and desist" letter from a law firm in the Netherlands because they say one of our products (the Change Cap) is infringing on their patent. Well, our hat is totally different from theirs, but the language and the claims in their patent are so broad that we're covered - we're infringers!! But, Bishop Quesenberry is helping us out and we found a hat that works the same way as ours that's been around for a lot longer than their patent, so that should shut them up. And we haven't ceased or desisted our sales, so we're putting all our eggs in that basket! Or, hat, as the case may be! So, that's our latest news.

On a happier note, I've lost 20 pounds!! I want to lose 5 more before Hawaii, so we'll see. :)

We got a Ford 150 1994 truck this week. It is a wonderful truck! We can't wait to take it to Alabama--I'll post pics later:>

True Love, Take it to the Limit

So. . .I finally figured out how to get on the new blog, I know it took me awhile. I love the pictures y'all have put on here. . .you've all had such great adventures in the last little while, I am so jealous. Texas has been good, I like my job, mostly because my boss lets me do whatever I want and is my best friend here. She makes life easier. And. . .yes, I have been dating someone, and it's just stress. I don't know what will happen, he's moving to California at the end of this week, and then from there he is going to school in Idaho in the fall. So, we are still in the process of deciding where we want this to go. At the beginning, he was the one really pushing the relationship and wanting to do a long distance thing, and I was really holding back. Ironically, this weekend, I came to the realization that that is what I want, and now he seems to be a bit hesitant. Asi es la vida. What can you do? So, we'll see. I got offered a job nannying in Italy for three months, from September to November. . .its all paid for (flight, room, board, etc), plus they pay me. I'm thinking it looks like a good idea. . .I'm about at that point where running away to Europe looks pretty enticing. . .

Grad School

Hey everyone, here's the big news. We're going to Utah. Okay so we're already in Utah, but we're going to the University of Utah. I'm relieved, even if only for the move. ;) So there you go.

Here are some recent pics of Eli. Two are before and after pictures for his first haircut--he had major wings!! It was pretty exciting stuff as he would not keep still for even 2 seconds. But we got 'er done. He is quite the stud with his new look! The next pic was taken when we went hiking down at Goblin Valley a few weeks ago--such a neat place (go if you get the chance!!). And the last is of Eli trying to get into the shower while Jeremy is in it and he got pretty soaked--he love it though!! That kid can't get enough of the water!! Anyway, enjoy. Life is good, we are looking forward to the end of the semester...just a few weeks now. Then, bring on the summer!!! This is going to be quite the summer--we are pretty set on moving to Alabama in August, Eli and I will go to Canada for a visit as the end of July, and we might buy a truck. Oh, and packing is going to be great fun...seeing as I can't even get Eli's clothes put away in his drawer without him making a mess of them!! Anyway...I'd love to hear from all of you. Kelly...if you have something to share...come on with it girl!!!
