Easter Adventures

So I thought you all might like to see some shots of our Easter. It was great. It's part of mine and Morgan's attempts to make more childhood memories for Grace and Jack. And even though they might not remember it, at least we had fun. ;)

Here we are at Grandma and Grandpa's house dying eggs.

Jack wasn't a huge fan, I'm guessing because we wouldn't let him play with the dyes. I know, I know, we're cruel parents.

Here are the kids with their Easter baskets. It took Grace a while to figure out the whole finding the basket thing, but she liked it when she found it. And I think Jack just liked that Grace was finally distracted enough that he could play with her sippy cup.

Here we all are wearing the bunny ears...some more successfully than others. It's a little difficult to get anything to stay on the head of a nine month old. ;)

Then came the making of the rolls for dinner. Grace happily helped stir and then proceeded to spill it all over herself and the floor. Jack was on clean up duty.

Then we had our Easter egg hunt.

Here's Gracie eating her spoils.

Here are the kids in their Easter best, I think Grace was getting tired of the pictures. Maybe you are too. ;)

Last but not least. We thought we would put something in Gracie's Easter basket to help her remember what Easter is really all about. She decided to hang it on the fridge.

I hope you all had a great Easter, with some fun and some good time to think about what it's all about. Love you all.

A few more weeks to go:)

Okay, here is big ol' me at 36 weeks. Guess what?! This baby has decided to go breech just like Eli--so unless he flips (unlikely) within this next week it looks like we'll be having a c-section. Crazy eh?!! If that is the case...only 3 weeks to go!

And a picture of a gorgeous flower to make you all smile!

Howdy to y'all:)

Just been thinking about you all and hope that you are having a fabulous March:) We are doing fine here and are enjoying many sunshiny days. Every now and then we get a massive thunderstorm/tornado warning which can be crazy but sort of fun at the same time! We have about a month left until baby boy #2 joins us and we are quite excited...not only will it be great to hold him and have him for our very own, but I also can't wait to be done with major aches, pains, and heartburn!! My sister Becky is coming for 10 days to stay with us when the baby comes...it is easier for her to come then my mom. Anyway...here are a few random pics...enjoy:)

A New Picasso? I Think So.

So Grace has fallen in love with these colored pencils and every day she works very hard on her art skills. Today she created something amazing. At first glance it might look just like your regular two-year-old art piece. But Grace told me she drew a fork and a moon. See if you can find it. For anyone interested in viewing the original it will be on display on the Gainer refrigerator until replaced by the next masterpiece.

I am the loser friend, but I still love-a you all!

Good grief! I hadn't realized how long it's been since I saw you all--even on this blog! It's great to see everyone's pictures and everything. I'm still in the wild west Rock Springs. I've been working and working and last semester I took some classes too. Now I'm an official CNA (I can change bedpans and brush your teeth) and phlebotomist (I can draw your blood (needle, not a pencil) and it's more fun than bedpans). This semester I'm taking 21 credits and only working one job, so I'll probably get back on this thing. For everyone whose phone calls and emails I haven't returned, I'm really sorry. I'm not moving to Salt Lake last December after all, either, which stinks since I won't be around all those Kitchens. Merry Christmas, though, and Happy New Year, and I think I owe everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and uh...Happy Halloween, too. I'll be applying to nursing schools this spring and hopefully I'll get one near one of you guys.

I've been noticing that you guys all have incredibly cute kids. I guess I'd better get on with things or your kids will be too old to play with mine. I'll have to get married first, though. Let me know if you all have any suggestions.

As for pictures, this is the only one I can find right now. This was from the summer, but except for a little more hair, I look about the same...sadly, even when it's not windy.

Take care, all! I love you tons!

So far, so good

Well, our new year and new semester seem to be starting off well. We did a major cleaning of the apartment after all the holidays and traveling, which makes me feel pretty good. The kids are on a schedule, at least for today. Morgan is starting into research. And I'm signed up for a colored pencil drawing class with Kelly and Ashley. Yep, things are good. So does anyone have any exciting goals or plans for 2008?

Tis the Season:)

Putting the star on:) Or rather star-like snowflake:)
Playing water games out on the porch with a temp of 74 degrees--loving it for now, but will miss the snow the week of Christmas!
Eli is obsessed with candy canes, he can't get enough of them...how this started? Who knows!!
This is where we often find Eli chillin' out. He loves the tree oh so much!!

Merry Christmas y'all!!

A House of Order

Sorry for all the pictures, but I wanted you all to truly appreciate Grace's organizational genius. She came up with all of these on her own, and I think she's getting better with time. I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your holiday season. We're having a great time here. I finished working right before Thanksgiving and I'm loving hanging out with the kids. Grace as you can tell is a character and Jack is one of the most personable babies I've ever seen. All he needs is someone there and he'll be happy and smiling. Morgan will be done with finals on Friday, woohoo! Love you all.

We really thought it was going to be a girl this time (Jer and I both had dreams about having a baby girl)...but it is not to be!! We are super excited and now that we have had the ultrasound everything seems much more real!! Fun times :)

More Late Halloween Pics:)

The horse, Eli, and I just couldn't get it together:) We didn't get a single pic with all three of us looking at the camera--oh well!! Little Eli loved Halloween and loved trunk or treating. He looked great in his Marshal costume and the hat lasted at least 5 minutes--overall, a fantastic Halloween!
My sweet handsome boys:)
Our little piece of heaven park had all kinds of interesting scarecrows set up during the month of October. This one was Eli's fav. b/c of all the dogs and cats:)
And a random pic of Eli playing on the patio a few days ago. The weather has been unbelievably beautiful and it has been warm enough to allow Eli to play water games in only his diaper!!

Late Halloween Pics

Here are the Halloween pictures of the kids. We had tons of fun. Grace picked up on trick-or-treating pretty quick. And now her favorite thing to do is not eat the candy but organize it according to color, size, and type of candy. I'll put a picture of that up next, it's hilarious. And Jack, was the cutest little monster. That's pretty much all from here. I'm looking forward to my nice long holiday break from work, and we'll be going to California for Christmas.

Nothing going on

Hello everyone! I just wanted to update you that nothing is going on here. My husband is gone for a while and so I am kicking it here with my parents. We are having a great time hanging out and going for walks. Little nate is getting not so little anymore. He is super cute and fun. Not much else is going on. We are missing our husband/dad.. And just counting down the days until he get back. Still like 150 left. But we do have some fun things planned. Dinsey World, a Disney Cruise, visiting family, scrapbooking, learning to walk and talk and eat, (not me but nate) We are having a great time and loving life.
